NegativeEverything was excellent. The only criticism we had was in relation to bath towels. We were given 2 in the room but there were 4 of us. We asked on several occasions but were only offered these on the last day. A tad disappointing...

Pefect location and plenty of airy space We had an internal, courtyard-view apartment, so it was very quiet. High ceilings, airy with many windows, lots of storage and moving-around space. We were surprised at the large open feel. The building is very attractive, with large and beautiful stone staircase. Location is perfect, as every attraction is within a short walk - 15 minutes takes you to all of the good places. Large grocery store within five minutes walk, smaller fruit and mini-marts within two minutes. Very glad we avoided an apartment in the castle area, as this entails a lot of steep walks to get in and out. Stay at the Karolina, and you have it best. Kitchen is large and light, with good appliances. Washing machine a huge plus. Only negatives are minor: difficult to use shower without spraying water onto bathroom floor; tub is a tall step up that would be difficult for elderly. A grab-bar would be a huge help, as would a shower curtain.. Overall, we highly recommend. We stay in many apartment rentals internationally, and this on
