Perfect place to stay in Prague I had the great pleasure of staying at Residence Karolina in February. I had previously stayed at Residence Masna last year and was very pleased with Karolina. The location is ideal as it's located a few minutes walk to the center of the old town, but also close to the new town also. The room we stayed in was on the 5th floor and had a beautiful open plan layout. Needing to work while in Prague the staff were extremely helpful with setting up and extra desk in our apartment. The wifi was a little slow at times but was fine overall. The only other somewhat negative was the size of the bathroom. It was tiny and there was nowhere to put toiletries apart from the cabinet above the sink which would be ample for a short stay but for 4 weeks it would have been helpful to have some other surface space. There was a washer and dryer for those staying longer which we found very helpful. The cleaning staff were impeccable and the apartment was always clean. Nice apartment in good location We enjoyed our stay. We had cleaning twice a week; mid-week the maids simply straightened up the used towels and washclothes rather than replacing them, which irritated my wife, who was expecting new towels.
