Great Prague apartment with wonderful staff We just finished our stay at the Residence Karolina and we were very pleased with this apartment. The rooms were clean and the decor was very modern and just like the pictures. The bedrooms themselves are not huge, but with the high ceilings they feel much bigger which was nice. The only minor issue we had is that the foldaway bed for our 5th person was broken, so he had to sleep on a bit of a slant because of the broken frame. The office staff asked us if we would like to have it replaced, but we were only staying for a few nights, so didn't want to bother with it. Like I said, very minor issue. The location is a couple blocks away from the river and the old town, so it is very centrally located and we could walk everywhere. In fact, Prague was the only city we visited (we also went to Vienna, Salzburg and Budapest) where we didn't use the local transportation at all. We really liked that they had a big Tesco about a block away, so the first thing we did is went there and stocked up the refrigerator.
